Not many actresses in Hollywood have made movies earning a fan following as massive as Michelle Monaghan. Since her stardom in the 1990’s, Monaghan has become a celebrated icon in the film industry. Whether it’s devoted police officers, feminist heroines or victims of murders, Monaghan has played many strong characters. Arguably, Monaghan’s strength as an actress has always been her commitment to her craft. She is one of those actresses that has often poured her heart and soul into each and every role. An actress with commitment to her craft, Monaghan has become a celebrated icon in entertainment. Through her abilities to create strong characters that are compelling, Monaghan has become an actress producing movies that audiences value. Throughout her enduring career, Monaghan has created many unforgettable movies that are definitely worth watching.

I’m a huge fan of Monaghan and adore all the films which she produced in her career. That being said, “Mission: Impossible 3” is definitely my favourite. Released in 2008, J.J. Abrams’ blockbuster celebrated the iconic franchise about impossible missions. Packed with bold production design, engrossing storytelling and phenomenal acting, it’s one of the best action movies ever made. At the center of it all is an excellent performance by Michelle Monaghan, who portrays a woman which endures grave danger. Ultimately, what makes “MI 3” a bold masterpiece is its strong appeal. Unlike most movies in the mission impossible franchise, it tackles strong themes everyone will relate to. It delivers a meaningful message about terrorism which would resonate with everyone. A riveting action masterpiece, there are countless strong reasons why “Mission: Impossible III” is a film which is worth seeing.

Following the events of “Mission Impossible II”, “Mission: Impossible 3” follows a hunted spy on a mission he grows to value. Tom Cruise portrays Ethan Hunt, a hunted spy embarking upon a dangerous mission which leaves him conflicted. Ethan has always shared a strong bond with his girlfriend Julia, whom he loves dearly. However, Ethan’s dream is destroyed when terrorism puts his romance in danger. Owen Davian (Phillip Seymour Hoffman) is a dangerous black market expert that seeks to destroy the world. As all the odds are stacked against his favour, Ethan begins to wonder if it’s possible for him to overcome a challenging mission causing disaster. Questioning whether it’s a mission that he can accomplish, Ethan is forced to question his devotion to a job that he once used to cherish.

J.J. Abrams is a newcomer toward the mission impossible franchise. Before he had directed “Mission: Impossible 3”, Abrams had scarcely made a movie about hunted spies. Adams was well-known for his television work. With “MI 3”, however Abrams created his first ever mission impossible blockbuster. It was the filmmaker’s first attempt to capture hunted spies enduring danger but he succeeds tremendously. Using captivating cinematography, Abrams made his first blockbuster. Inspired by Paul Greengrass’ “United 83, Abrahams successfully uses hand-camerawork to capture tension which bank robbers are facing. For instance, the handheld camera work elevates interrogation opening scene. During this frightening scene, Ethan is put on the spot when his wife is endangered by a cruel serial killer. Handheld camerawork is a complicated technique to use in films. As John Krasinski’s “A Quiet Place” demonstrated that silence elevates horror movies about silence survival. However, it works tremendously in this movie. Through breathtaking visuals, Abrams creates a compelling action movie which the audiences can risky to.

Production design is one of the reasons why that “Mission Impossible III” is a captivating action classic that’s composing. The film is extremely well made, and effectively uses symbolism to capture hardships hunted agents enduring. For instance, symbolism elevates the rabbit foot scene. Through stunning value, Curtis honours an iconic character that audiences value. The technique of symbolism isn’t easy to employ in movies. As Steven Spielberg’s “Schindler’s List” suggested, symbolism elevates films about beloved presidents. Peter Jackson’s “The Lord of the Rings” franchise claimed the symbolism elevates classical fantasy epics Nevertheless, it works immensely in this movie. Moreover, the musical score is magnificent. Michael Giacchino’s music is key to success of the movie. It gives the movie a frightening atmosphere capturing the heavy burden that hunted agents bear. Through bold production design, Abrams captures the lives of spies that decline.

Another strong aspect of “Mission Impossible III” that merits appreciation is the storytelling. The film is beautifully written, and effectively uses sequences of silence to capture tensions hunted agents on missions are facing. Abrams’ screenwriting strength is his abilities to capture tensions faced by agents in dangerous mission by silence. For instance, silence elevates the Vatican scene. During this memorable scene, Ethan Hunt infiltrates the Vatican church with consequences which prove to be dangerous. Silence is a tricky technique to use in movies. As John Krasinski’s “A Quiet Place” suggested silence enhances commemorated horror movies about silent survival. Tom McCarthy’s “Spotlight” proved that silence elevates commemorated movies about shocking scandals. Nevertheless, it works immensely in this movie. Through a spectacular screenplay, Abrams captures the lives of hunted spies on impossible missions which come with a painful price to pay.

Michelle Monaghan delivers one of her finest career performances as Julia. Monaghan first earned appreciation for playing detectives that investigate disappearance of children in crime dramas. With “Mission: Impossible 3”, however, she took on her most complex role. It is often challenging to portray women in the mission impossible franchise. Women are often treated poorly in the franchise as nothing more than sexual objects. Thankfully, though, that is not an issue with “Mission: Impossible 3”. As Julia, Monaghan crafted one of the strongest female heroines in the spy franchise. With captivating expressions, she captures the angst, freedom and resentments of a woman whose life is in grave danger. It’s a phenomenal performance by one of the finest actresses working in the commemorated film industry today.

Tom Cruise is captivating as a hunted agent with severe issues. Cruise first earned praise for playing the hunted spy in the first mission impossible movie in 1996. With “Mission: Impossible 3”, however, the actor brought emotional vulnerability to the hero audiences hadn’t seen before. Cruise has always excelled at playing action heroes whose lives are in grave danger, and “Mission: Impossible III” showcased his strengths as an actor. It’s a role that gave the actor a chance to showcase commitment to his craft through performing strong stunts in entertainment. Whether he’s jumping from the rooftops of buildings or searching for a rabbit foot that’s terrifying, Cruise used his powerful body language to create a hunted spy that is compelling. It’s a phenomenal performance by one of the most commemorated actors which is working today.

The supporting cast is sensational and also worthy of praise. Phillip Seymour Hoffman is phenomenal, bringing dedication to an evil arms dealer which commits serious crimes causing tension. Johathan Rys-Meyers is magnificent, capturing the strong authority of an evil arms dealer seeking to complete a mission that’s impossible. Lastly, Ving Rhames is remarkable. As Ethan Hunt’s longtime friend, he always brings heartfelt emotion towards these movies.

Finally, “Mission: Impossible III” would earn the appreciation of everyone for capturing agents facing tragedy. Unlike most films in the iconic spy franchise, it tackles strong themes which everyone would relate to. It delivers a strong message about the importance of freedom which would resonate with everyone. Viewers aren’t required to be fans of the franchise to appreciate it. Therefore, “Mission: Impossible 3” is one of those rare action movies everyone will adore.

Fans of Michelle Monaghan would appreciate “Mission: Impossible III” and so will movie-flare seeking enjoyable entertainment. A captivating action classic, it celebrates an actress that has built a legacy which is iconic.

Nearly 20 years following the release of a groundbreaking action movie about hunted agents in grave danger seeking to mission to accomplish that are impossible, it’s a remarkable reminder of a commemorated actress that has built a powerful legacy earning a huge fan following for her extraordinary abilities to portray compelling characters in memorable movies which audiences have always considered to be special.
