Not many actors have created movies which inspire awe like Jude Law. Ever since his rise toward fame in the 1990’s, Law has become a beloved icon in the film industry. Whether it’s magical school teachers, wealthy aristocrats or detectives solving murders, Law has played many interesting characters. Arguably, Law’s finest strength as an actor has often been his powerful screen presence. He is one of those rare actors with a strong presence which has elevated every movie. Despite his age of retirement, Law has never lost a strong passion for making compelling entertainment. Throughout a commemorated career, Law has made countless memorable movies which are definitely worth talking about.
I’m a huge fan of Law and adore all the movies which he has made in his career. However, “A.I. Artificial Intelligence” is my favourite. Released in 2001, Steven Spielberg’s film offered a bold portrait of an artificial intelligence. Packed with stunning production design, strong storytelling and phenomenal acting, it is one of the finest science-fiction films ever made. At the centre of it all is an exceptional performance by Jude Law, who plays an artificially intelligent robot that inspires awe. Ultimately, what makes “A.I. Artificial Intelligence” a masterpiece is its bold appeal. Unlike most films about A.I., it tackles strong themes that everyone would relate to. It delivers a meaningful message about dangers of artificial intelligence. A riveting masterpiece about artificial intelligence, there are countless reasons why “A.I. Artificial Intelligence” is a film worth seeing.
“A.I. Artificial Intelligence” tells the story of an artificially intelligent boy that is adopted by a family that causes a disturbance. Haley Joel Osment plays David, an artificial robot with a capability to love. David has often yearned to be part of a family achieving acceptance for his ability. David’s dreams come true when he is adopted by a Cybertronics employee whom he has grown to value. Faced with a chance to form a strong human connection, David seeks to overcome life tension. However, David’s life forever changes when he discovers an artificial intelligent world causing disaster. David forms a strong friendship with Gigolo Joe (Jude Law), a male prostitute robot facing sorrow. Gigolo is a bright robot with immense knowledge about artificial intelligence he passes on to David. As the odds are stacked against his favour, David begins to wonder whether it’s truly possible to overcome disaster.
Steven Spielberg is fascinated with the themes of artificial intelligence. A legendary filmmaker. Spielberg has often made great movies about aliens that face disaster. His iconic movie “E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial” captured bonds between aliens and children facing disaster. With “A.I. The Artificial Intelligence”, however, he created his first A.I. blockbuster. It was the filmmaker’s first attempt to capture the lives of artificially intelligent robots facing adversity but he pulled it off expertly. Through bold cinematography, Spielberg demonstrates an artificial intelligent robot facing adversity. Evoking Ridley Scott’s “Blade Runner”, Spielberg uses point of view shoes capturing tensions that robots see life to adjust toward families are facing. For instance, point-of-view shots enhance the family meet scene. During this unforgettable scene, David meets his adopted family for the first time in a joyous meeting. Point of view shoes are complicated techniques to use in movies. As Anthony Minghella’s “The Talented Mr. Ripley” suggested, point of view shoes elevate commemorated con artist movies. Nevertheless, it works extremely. Through stunning visuals, Spielberg captures tensions which commemorated artificially intelligent robots are facing.
Another admirable aspect of “A.I. Artificial Intelligence” that merits appreciation is the production. From a technical perspective, the film is extremely well made. Spielberg uses gorgeous costume design to capture the lives of robots facing a decline. Throughout the film, David’s costumes showcase the tension that artificial robots are experiencing. For instance, costumes elevate the parental abandonment scene. During this heartbreaking scene, David is abandoned by his mother in the forest that causes tension. Moreover, the musical score is magnificent. John Williams’ music contributes to the success of the movie. It gives the movie a tense atmosphere capturing the burden that artificial robots are facing. Through powerful production design, Spielberg captures lives of artificial intelligent robots which experience a decline.
Storytelling is one of the primary reasons why “A.I. Artificial Intelligence” is a science-fiction film that’s compelling. The movie is beautifully written, and effectively uses foreshadowing to capture tension that artificial intelligent robots are facing. Throughout the film, Spielberg uses subtle foreshadowing to signal dangers which that artificial intelligent robots are facing. For instance, foreshadowing propels the swimming pool accident scene. During this unforgettable scene, David has a tense fight with Martin in a swimming pool party. Through foreshadowing, Spielberg creates an artificial intelligent robot that audiences can relate to. Foreshadowing is a tricky technique to use in most films. As Guy Ritchie’s “Sherlock Holmes” suggested clearly, foreshadowing often elevates Sherlock Holmes adaptations. Nevertheless, it works immensely in this movie. Through a powerful screenplay, Spielberg captures artificial intelligent robots facing a price to pay.
One admired astonishing performances.

Jude Law delivers one of his greatest career performances as Gigolo Joe. Law achieved appreciation for playing heroes in celebrated period dramas. With “A.I. Artificial Intelligence”, however, he took on his most complex role. It isn’t easy to portray an artificially intelligent robot facing adversity but Law succeeds. This is the actor unlike you have ever seen him in the past before: intense, charismatic and emotional in his most memorable role. With riveting expressions, he captures the angst, desperation and resentments of an artificial intelligent robot facing tension. It’s a powerful performance from one of the greatest British actors working today.
Haley Josey Osment is fantastic as an artificial Intelligent robot that is abandoned by parents causing resentment. Osment has often excelled at playing troubled children under pressure, and “A.I” showcases his strengths as an actor. Whether he’s seeking to discover the truth about artificial intelligence or being abandoned by his mother in a way which is heartbreaking, Osment uses his body language to create a character which is compelling. It’s a powerful performance by one of the most talented child actors working today.
Finally, “A.I Artificial Intelligence” will earn the appreciation of everyone for capturing arrival intelligence. Unlike most movies about A.I., the film tackles themes everyone will relate to.
