My Favourite Kristen Stewart Movies of All-Time

Not many actresses have earned appreciation of Kristen Stewart. Since the 2000’s, Stewart has become a feminist icon. Whether it’s lovers of vampires, royal historical figures or personal shoopers, the actress has portrayed many strong characters. Given the sheer number of movies she has made, making a top 10 list isn’t easy. Nevertheless, listed below are my favourite films made by an actress that deserves to be celebrated.

1. Spencer

Princess Diana is a legendary member of the Royal Family that always impressed by father. I fondly recall with nostalgia memories of a father that was a huge fan of Princess Diana. Fascinated with the Royal Family, he always spoke fondly about a great princess that he loved dearly. He would always strive to educate my family about a royal figure he came to appreciate. My father always believed movies were an art that couldn’t honour the life of a princess holding a precious place in his heart. In 2021, Kristen Stewart honoured the legendary royal figure in her movie “Spencer”. In the greatest role of her career, Stewart portrayed the legendary princess that faced personal issues in her life causing despair. This is the actress unlike you’ve ever seen her before: intense, charismatic and emotional in her most memorable role. With “Spencer”, however, the actress took a step out of her comfort zone by playing a commemorated member of the Royal Family that’s well-known. It’s a role that gave the actress an opportunity to showcase dramatic range she hadn’t shown in her career before. For instance, the scene in which Princess Diana shamefully consumes pearl necklaces suffering from eating disorders during a commemorated Royal Family dinner causing despair is one of the finest moments of the actress’ career. Ultimately, what makes “Spencer” Kristen Stewart’s best movie is its universal appeal. Unlike most movies about the Royal Family that are targeted towards a limited audience, it tackles bold themes that everyone would relate to. It delivers a meaningful message about eating disorders which would resonate with everyone. Nearly 30 years following the sad death of a princess that attracted media attention becoming a bold figure in Britain that’s inspiring, it’s a great reminder of an actress that has produced engaging movies which are worth celebrating.

Kristen Stewart hasn’t always made great movies which deserve to be seen. While most movies the actress has made have been appreciated, a few have left audiences disappointed. Unfortunately, “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2” falls into the latter category. Released in 2012, Bill Condon’s final Twilight film was a disaster. In the most shallow role of her career, Stewart portrayed a vampire facing despair. Stewart brought her usual charisma to the role, standing out as the bright spot of a bad movie. Although “Breaking Dawn Part 2” is a disastrous movie, it honoured Stewart’s lasting legacy.
