With “Forrest Gump”, however, she took a step out of her comfort zone by playing a terminally ill woman. Robin Wright hasn’t always made great movies that are bright. While most movies the actress has made are appreciated, a few have left audiences disappointed. Unfortunately, “Here” falls into the latter category. Released in 2024, Robert Zemeckis’ drama was a disaster. In the most shallow role of her career, Wright portrayed an aging woman that experiences the passage of time causing despair. Wright brought her usual charisma to the role, standing out as the bright spot of a bad movie. Although “Here” is a disastrous movie, it honoured Wright’s enduring legacy. As strong as Margaret’s desire to overcome aging that’s tragic, it’s a fantastic reminder of a commemorated actress that has manufactured iconic movies captivating the public which I will forever treasure for inspiring me to achieve dreams of becoming a film critic.
